What are the differences between Power Blade and Power Blazer besides the intro, menu, stage select and the protagonists sprite? The music appears the same and the graphics. Are the levels exactly the same layout?

ln 3-1 once you come out out the tube after getting the coins if u let one of the mushrooms hit you the walk just past the cloud on the bridge there is a 1 up but u have to be small to get it

I never got to play Power Blade. I love Power Blazer mostly for the anime-ish look, and the awesome soundtrack. But man, I really hated this guy's jump.

I've played Mega Man, however, Power Blazer is kind of mediocre to me. I can see why the real life version of "Captain N The Game Master" decided to tweak the kinda mediocre Power Blazer into the awesome Power Blade. The differences between Power Blazer and Power Blade are like comparing summer and winter. Power Blazer's not that bad (it's certainly better than anything on Action 52), but I still felt this game's kind of mediocre. Power Blade, on the other hand, is AWESOME!

Power Blade > Power Blazer

At first I was surprised to see there was a Japanese version of Power Blade that actually used a different hero considering how much they love Arnold over there -- but what's even more surprising is the fact it seems to be a COMPLETELY different game, with the two sharing only a soundtrack and the concept of a boomerang as the main weapon. And I guess the whole 6-stage setup and some bosses...

Incredible but certainly this game is very Funny, I suppose that's the japanese version of Power Blade for NES.
